Second Semester 2012 Goals

My goal for the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year is to at least have no D's or F's. I selected this goal because I want to go to a four year college, and I just care for my grades so that way I wont be a failure in life. I will concur this goal by getting to school on time, doing my class work and homework, and also by participating in the school activities. I have been trying very hard in trying in keeping up my grades, and it matters  to me a lot. At the end of the semester, I will know I achieved my goal by being in a four year college when I grow up and having the confidence in myself, and knowing that  I have achieved my goals.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 18: Free Choice

I decided to write about kickboxing, I've always wanted to do kickboxing, and still do. One reason I like kickboxing is because my sister use to do it and she sometimes would teach me a little bit about kickboxing. Another reason that I like kickboxing is because it is for self-defense, so if somebody would try to come out and kill me one day, I can always just show them what I got. Lastly, I like kickboxing because sometimes it's just fun to kick or punch something. That is why I decided to write about kickboxing, and that is also why I like it so much.

Academic Language Week 18 - Teen Drivers

There are different reasons about teen drivers not having special restrictions on their drivers' license. One reason is that when some people ACQUIRE their drivers license, since they should  be able  to have that freedom  instead of having all of those restrictions on their drivers' license. Another reason is that a lot of teen drivers CONCLUDE their tests by doing everything properly. Lastly, it is in a lot of people's CULTURE to have more freedom and less restrictions on their drivers' license. That is why there are different reasons about teen drivers not having special restrictions on their drivers' license.

There are many different opinions that the imports from China to the United States are a bad idea. One fact is that some people or businesses use child labor as their FUNCTION. I fell that is very wrong because it's torturous and it takes away their education opportunities. Another fact is that if the United States imports more than they EXPORT then it would hurt our economy. Lastly, sometimes China products might not  be the best quality that they IMPORT to us. There are many different opinions that the imports from China to the United States is not a good idea.
