Dragons Den: Campus Donations

I felt good when the people donated the supplies and money to SPA. First, I am always grateful from people who donate things because they are willing to give things to us, even though they don't need to. Second, they gave us things even though they didn't know us. Third, they were willing to use their time to come down to SPA and gave us things that we needed. Fourth, it shows how generous people are when they donate things to people that are in need  .If I saw the people that donated stuff to us I would tell them "Thank you very much and I'm very grateful for the things you donated to us."

Academic Language Week 6 - Citizenship

Undocumented immigrants should be giving citizenship if they past the security test. First, they do the work many citizens don't want to do, which SIMPLIFY the hard labor jobs which we don't want. Second, some people VERIFY that they might break are laws because their used to their own laws in different countries. Third, they have to go through a test of SEQUENCES so they can get their own documents and live in the U.S, and get jobs. These are my three reasons why I think that immigrants should get a chance and have their documents.

"Marigolds" Lizbeth's Shoes Paragraph

Most kids don't worry about money as much as adults and parents do. Before my parents got a divorce and everything bad happened, they got into a lot of stress arguments. My biological dad, Gates, would lose a lot of jobs and it would get to the point where they would argue because my mom would be lazy and didn't really look for a job then. Sometimes we would be happy when Gates would get a new job and but after he lost a lot of his jobs I just gave up hope in him. Then we all went to Canada, he got another job up there and well, lets just say I still didn't have hope for him. That is how I felt and dealt with the issue when my parents would lose a job or don't have enough money for things that we want.

"Marigolds" Before You Read: Moving into Adulthood

What types of fears and conflicts do most young people have to deal with as they move into adult life?  First, they worry about their jobs, they have to get a good job so that way they can live somewhere and have food to eat. Second, once they get a place to stay at they have to worry about bills, a lot of people lose their jobs and places because bills and tax's get to expensive. Third, some people are worried about their kids because they might be addicted to drugs or they are doing gang-related things. How can young people prepare to handle these fears and conflicts?

Academic Language Week 5 - Vaccinations

I think that all children shouldn't have vaccinations. First, parents don't illustrate what might happen to the children. Second, they should estimate how the vaccinations affect their children.Third, the parents should be very positive talking to the child but some parents aren't. Fourth, they might get the vaccinations mixed up and the children might have some serious issues while they grow up. Fifth, what if the vaccination won't work and the child catches a disease anyway like when some people get a flu shot and they end up getting the flu. Sixth, some parents think there might be a link from vaccinations and autism. That is why I think children shouldn't have autism.
