Ironic Story Blog Post

Once upon a time there was a lady called Natalie Priester, who was a teacher. While she was taking a shower, her phone started ringing saying she got an email, and that email said that there was no work today. But Natalie P. did not pay attention to her phone because she was in the shower. After that, she got ready and went to work. When she got to her work she realized that nobodies car was there. 'Hmm...' she thought 'I guess I'm early then.' So she went into the Tech Center and went into her classroom and got it ready for the kids of her first period. While she sat on her chair she decided to do some of her own work for yearbook. As hours passed she soon realized that there must have been no work today and that she did not check her email, she was very upset that she did not check her email and that she was too lazy to go check it after her shower.

Academic Language Week 31 - Teen Vandals

Parents of teen vandals should not be held responsible for their child's damage. One reason is that parents need to be more SPECIFIC to their children. If parents are not specific with their kids then the kids might be more trouble for the citizen’s properties. Another reason is that kids need to ACHIEVE a job, so that way they won’t be destructive towards other people’s property. Lastly, parents need to COMPUTE to their children's needs. If parents do not compute their children's needs then they will be very destructive and will not do well in their lives. Teen’s vandalism should not be the parent’s responsibility.

Spring Break Blog Paragraph

During spring break, I spent the whole time with Natalie playing games with her online. Some of the games we played were Words with Friends, Scramble with Friends, and Legend Cards. Something I also did during spring break was network on Facebook. What I did on Facebook was play games and talk to old friends. Then I went to Walmart with Natalie and spent ten dollars on food. Some of the things I did buy were a 24 pack of Coke-a-Cola for eight dollars and a bag of Hot Cheetos for two dollars. By the end of the week, I also spent 20 dollars on junk food, which was at the 99 Cent Store. Other then that, I got a lot of rest. I wished that spring break was a little longer because I had a lot of fun.

Academic Language Week 30 - "D" Grades

There are many different reasons why that schools should eliminate "D" grades. One reason is that it could help students COMPENSATE their grades into better grades, and it would give them more of a challenge to do their work and study. Another reason is that when students go to school, they might get a 'D' in their INITIAL period, which is why they should study more in school. Lastly, if they eliminate 'D' grades it would help students to INTERACT and communicate with each other. In conclusion, if schools eliminate 'D' grades then it would help students get better grades.
