Academic Language Week 28 - Global Positioning System (GPS)
I think that the Global Positioning System (GPS) devices should not be required for habitually truant students. One reason is that a lot of students have the ELEMENT to not have a GPS on them, and it will take them out of their element. Another reason is that students have CONDUCTED a way to do school and learn, but having a GPS on them can be very distracting. Lastly, the ADMINISTER'S way of tracking kids with a GPS on them is a very bad idea, they should have more security or cameras to track down kids who are truant or ditching class. That is why I think the GPS devices should not be required for truant students.

Rachel, I agree with what you said. Schools should help track their students.
